GHARP's Blood Drive - Feb 08

GHARP hosted it's second Blood Drive for the National Blood Transfusion Service. GHARP had hosted another Blood Drive in June 2007 and had collected 13 units. This time around 21 units were collected and would contribute to the more than 100 units that the NBTS needed to collect. GHARP plans on doing this again in June.

HIV Basics for Pharmacists

A pilot training using the HIV Basics for Pharmacists Curriculum. Participants included pharmacists, pharmacy students, pharmacy assistants, pharmacy assistant students and a multi-purpose technician.

The World Summit Award (WSA) is a global initiative to select and promote the world’s best e-Content, started in 2003 in the framework of the United Nations’ World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS). The National HIV/AIDS website was selected as one of the 40 Best Practice Examples of quality e-Content in the world for 2007.
